Younger For Longer: Miah’s Insights
Hereโs a summary of our conversation with Miah.

Your most recent test result was a 0.65, which means at that rate, in 10 years, your body would have only aged 5.6 years. Thatโs phenomenal! Tell me more about your background before starting this longevity regimen with NOVOS. Were you always generally health-conscious?
I would say yes, Iโve always been generally health-conscious, and that focus has been a part of my adult life. My interest in health actually started with my familyโmy grandmother was really into eggs and wheatgrass. While I donโt stick to those specific things anymore, it did instill in me an appreciation for health.
In college, I got introduced to Ray Kurzweilโs ideas about the singularity and the potential for living long enough to live forever, which fascinated me. As a software engineer, I was drawn to the technical aspects of longevity. This was around 2007, and I started exploring various health strategies as a fun hobby, hoping to extend my lifespan. Even though there werenโt many aging tests available back then, it sparked a lasting interest in the field of longevity.
Whatโs included in some of your longevity protocol? Are you prioritizing sleep in different ways? Are you approaching your exercise and nutrition with a longevity focus or just general health?
Itโs a bit of both. I see health and longevity as interconnectedโbeing healthier tends to lead to living longer and vice versa. The basics like sleep, exercise, and diet are fundamental. I use an Oura ring to track my sleep, which is crucial. For exercise, I focus on a combination of walking, high-intensity resistance training once a week, and fun cardio activities like dancing for a couple of hours each week. These are all key components of my approach to longevity.
What about notable changes to your body, mind, or appearance since you began your longevity regimen and included NOVOS in that as well?
Itโs hard to pinpoint everything, but over the last year, Iโve shifted from trying random things to focusing on specific metrics through tests. Thatโs how I found NOVOS. Iโve noticed improvements, particularly in my skinโit seems smoother and brighter.
Is there anything else included in terms of supplementation, or do you keep it simple? Do you take both Core and Boost?
I take both NOVOS Core and NOVOS Boost. My supplementation evolves over time. Right now, Iโm also incorporating supplements from the Bryan Johnson category, like organ mix and mushroom supplements. Iโm focused on blending high-tech and ancestral health approaches into my regimen.
What does quality of life look like to you? Ultimately, what does longevity mean to you?
For me, quality of life is about feeling agency and gratitude. Good days are when I feel in control of my choices and grateful for whatโs happening in my life. Extending that feeling as long as possible is key. Itโs important to me to keep my mind clear and maintain my capacity to do things as I age.
On our website, novoslabs-development.mystagingwebsite.com, we have a free longevity quiz that gives you a score of how well your lifestyle is optimized for longevity. What would be most important to you if you slowed down your aging? Having more energy, living as long as possible, having a younger appearance, preventing or healing diseases, or having optimal cognition?
All of the above, really. But if I had to choose one, Iโd probably go with living as long as possible because itโs correlated with many of those other things. But I wouldnโt want to live long if it meant being bedridden and unable to talk. Itโs about balancing longevity with quality.
Miah, any other pieces of information youโd like to share about your longevity journey thus far or your experience with NOVOS?
The main thing is that this journey is fun for me. Itโs a fun challenge and puzzle to figure out. Enjoying the process is critical for making it a long-term commitment. If itโs a slog, itโs not going to happen. For me, itโs a happy puzzle to solve.
